Dedicated to perpetual learning and ever-expading expertise, with a particular interest in computer programming and game development. I make every effort to embrace the ethos of a 'Jack of all trades.' I also enjoy exploring new trails and seeing nature while driving a car or riding a motorcycle.

I have a diverse set of experience from working in multiple industries. For example, I interned for the IT office at my high school, worked in customer service at Walmart, and most recently received a wide variety of experience working for El Paso County Parks. While in the parks department, I did everything from janitorial work, to operating heavy equipment, felling trees, diagnosing and repairing irrigation and electrical problems, and so much more. I truly enjoy diversity in work, and I always love having the opportunity to learn new skills.

In my spare time, I currently like tinkering and making electronic things. I have recently gotten into programming microcontrollers and I have been having a blast thinking of all the cool things that can be done with them. Not too long ago, I created a picture frame that displays a new Bible verse every day on an e-ink screen. I also made a weather station by connecting several sensors to a Raspberry Pi computer. The weather station serves a web page with its current info and some historical charts. The weather station is a project I am improving continually.

Programming computers has also been a hobby of mine since I learned you could tell computers what to do. I have developed a whole heap of half-finished software and games mostly written in C++ (the first language I learned). While it's true that I have finished very few projects, I have learned a ton over the years about programming and computers in general. It's a topic that never fails to pique my interest.

Learning new concepts is always really fun and exciting for me. I like to understand how things work, how things are made, and what are the natural processes that make the world we live in so interesting. Basically, I am fascinated with engineering and science. I love exploring and learning all about this incredible world God gave us.
